Defend signs new producer Caleb Stone

Caleb Stone is a producer/multi-instrumentalist raised in Northern California, now producing and causing a stir in Los Angeles.

Formerly the drummer for death metal band Mouth of the Serpent and bass player for Professor Calculus, Stone has shifted his efforts toward his own wave of hip-hop production. The bass hits you in the chest, while the melodies scream “California”. Cover that in a bit of shadow, and you have the music of Caleb Stone. You’ve heard of trap? Well, this is post-trap.

Along with his own solo releases, he’s lent his abilities to efforts by The Internet, as well as up-and-coming acts like Kilo Kish, Speak!, Cashius Green and fellow Defend writer Alexander Spit.
