Defend Music 2012 in review!

It’s been another great year for Defend, here’s some of the things we are most proud of!

We greatly expanded our roster in 2012, signing many talented writers and producers: Alexander Spit, Hot Sugar, Woodrow Jackson, J57, Caleb Stone, Record Kicks, Michael Conte, New Bomb Turks, Very Be Careful, Adam Scone and Smoota. Each with their own specific style and expertise. All fantastic additions to the Defend family.

This year also saw the reunion The Sugarman 3 with the album “What The World Needs Now”, Antibalas re-connecting with Gabriel Roth for their self-titled Daptone release, Menahan Street Band’s “The Crossing”, as well as Alexander Spit’s debut EP “A Breathtaking Trip”.
