Defend Music 2011 In Review!

It’s been a long and happy year for us at Defend. We just wanted to run down a few of the highlights of 2011 for your reading/viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

First off we were extremely happy to sign the very talented writing stable of Extraordinaire Music. Extraordinaire features the talents of songwriter/producer Thomas Brenneck, Jared Tankel, David Guy, Homer Steinweiss among others. These writers are responsible for Charles Bradley, Menahan Street Band, and have also worked with Aloe Blacc, Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson! They make a great addition to the Defend family.

We were also happy to welcome multi-instrumentalist/producer/songwriter Ryan Spraker to Defend. Spraker is a frequent collaborator of Eli “Paperboy” Reed, co-writing such hits as “Explosion” and “Come and Get It”. Ryan also works on his own material with The True Loves, and we can only see more success with him into 2012.

Aside from that, here’s a nice list of all the things Defend did in 2011:
