Hailing from Munich, Germany, Michael has been involved in the music business one way or another since he was 16. Early on Michael accompanied his brother Christian Prommer on DJ tours through Germany and learned the ins and outs of a the business of DJ, producer and remixer. Michael went on to study at U.C. Berkeley, where he obtained his Bachelors of Art in Economics. After a stint as Management Consultant with Bain & Company advising Fortune 500 companies on operations and leveraged buy outs Michael became a partner in the electronic music web-site xlr8r.com in 1999. In 2004 Michael founded Defend Music with the goal to provide clients with the best creative and business services.
Label, publishing, management, throwing shows, touring the country in a van, producing records, DJing – there’s pretty much nothing music-related that Greg hasn’t done. Greg has A&Red previously at boutique publisher Angry Mob Music Group, indie distributor BFM Digital, and artist discovery startup Hello Music, and he owns the developmental alternative rock label New Professor. Greg also manages songwriter Rogét Chahayed, producer of D.R.A.M. and Lil Yachty’s multi-platinum smash “Broccoli.” You can find Greg in a studio, at a show, or in the candy aisle of the supermarket trying to find a fresh package of Red Vines.
Andrew grew up in a musical household just outside of New York City, where his family worked in the TV industry. He began playing guitar at age 14, going on to study jazz performance and eventually moving to Los Angeles where he has been a part of the music scene for over 8 years. Previously at Music Alternatives and Lip Sync Music, he has had first hand experience writing, performing, publishing, licensing and promoting music.

Los Angeles native Russell is a trained trumpet player who has many years experience in copyright and licensing. In the summer of 2016 he solo hiked the famed John Muir trail in California.
Formerly Head of Publishing at Glassnote’s Insieme Music, SVP Music Publishing at Razor & Tie Music Publishing and VP Creative at Kobalt Music Publishing, Sharon Tapper is a longtime publishing vet. During her four year tenure at Razor & Tie, Tapper and her team were responsible for many U.S. hit singles including four Country #1’s (Blake Shelton “God Gave Me You” & “Over”, Jake Owen “Alone With You” and Tyler Farr “Whisky In My Water”), five-times Platinum certified “Home” performed by American Idol Winner Phillip Phillips (also captured the #1 spot on ten Billboard charts), Mary J Blige’s “Suitcase”, and Jessie J’s “Masterpiece.”
